When I discovered embossing a lot of ideas came to my mind. This was the first test that I did and it was very successful. Because typography is the main media of my project. I thought I will experiment with different types of printing technique, embossing was the first. This was created using lino, I cut the letter onto lino and then I sent it to the presser with a piece of paper on top. The print was very successful as the type is still legible. From doing this I realised that the straight letters such ‘E’ and ‘H’ were very easy to emboss because it was easy to cut on to lino. Whereas letter like ‘C’ and ‘P’ were difficult because of the curve of the letter.
